I always like to judge and talk about the cover。 In this case I find it totally disappointing。 I would not have picked it up for the cover。 What will you do for half a million dollars？In the very beginning we get to know struggling widow Carrie and her son。 Carrie soon gets an offer to work as a surrogate for a rich family in LA。 She and Benny move to the estates guesthouse。 That’s were things get crazy。 The book is my kind of crazy。 The plot was good and the pacing was fitting。 Not too fast and I always like to judge and talk about the cover。 In this case I find it totally disappointing。 I would not have picked it up for the cover。 What will you do for half a million dollars？In the very beginning we get to know struggling widow Carrie and her son。 Carrie soon gets an offer to work as a surrogate for a rich family in LA。 She and Benny move to the estates guesthouse。 That’s were things get crazy。 The book is my kind of crazy。 The plot was good and the pacing was fitting。 Not too fast and not to slow。 I appreciate that I did not get bored from the start。 Sometimes it went way over the top， still I found myself entertained， read it in one sitting。 You keep wondering what the Gould family will be doing next。 The end is maybe the weakest part。 Still， I did enjoy the story。 the characters were well enough written and I did like Carrie。 Alanna was just psycho nuts。 The only truly annoying character was Sterling。 Legalise castration？ In a way the characters might be stereotypical， but for once I did not mind， because it was so fitting for the story。 This was the perfect book to read during my nightshift。 It was light and easy to follow， which worked perfectly for me。 。。。more

FAST AND GREAT READ！I have loved all of Cole Baxter’s books， so it was no surprise that I loved this one as well。 I couldn’t put it down once I started it。 I don’t have pretty words like all other commenters do， but I still like to comment when I find a book like this， that is an easy read and a has a great storyline。 Thank you， Mr。 Baxter， for making it a pleasure to read。

I'm not sure what I thought I expected when I picked this book up。 It's a gentle introduction to Carrie and her son Benny and the struggle that is their life。 Carrie is offered the opportunity to become a surrogate mother for a famous actor and actress。 Carrie decides that doing this will her the opportunity she needs to provide a better life for her and Benny。 It's only when she has moved into a cottage in the grounds of their property that she begins to realise just what she has let herself in I'm not sure what I thought I expected when I picked this book up。 It's a gentle introduction to Carrie and her son Benny and the struggle that is their life。 Carrie is offered the opportunity to become a surrogate mother for a famous actor and actress。 Carrie decides that doing this will her the opportunity she needs to provide a better life for her and Benny。 It's only when she has moved into a cottage in the grounds of their property that she begins to realise just what she has let herself in for。 Her life is now controlled by Alanna whilst Alanna's husband， Sterling， tries to get Alanna to have sex with him。 As time goes on， Alanna's controlling ways spiral whilst Sterlings'attentions also get out of hand and Carrie realises that somehow she must get away， along with the couples unborn child。 There are quite a few twists and turns， some of which you will see coming but a couple you wont。 Very enjoyable book which kept me turning pages。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
